Cerdia® Cellulose Acetate

Hollow Fiber

A new alternative for sustainable nonwovens products.

We are thrilled to introduce our new game changer product,
Cerdia® Cellulose Acetate Hollow Fiber

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do and our products. We are very proud to launch a biodegradable fiber, based on cellulose. Our new Cerdia® Cellulose Acetate Hollow Fiber is both economically and technically viable to ensure a manufacturing process that is fully sustainable.

Our aim is to offer a solution that allows our customers to design and produce more sustainable, innovative products in a variety of industries that have the potential to enable positive environmental impact.

Cerdia® Cellulose Acetate Hollow Fiber, produced from wood pulp, is a new renewable and biodegradable alternative to oil-based fibers such as polyester, polypropylene or polyamides. The origin of the cellulose we use is from certified and sustainable forests, therefore, it has no impact on the use of natural resources and overexploitation of the land.

Our R&D teams have developed a unique structure in our new Cerdia® Cellulose Acetate Hollow Fiber that promotes an excellent mechanical anchorage of additives, liquids and particles.

Product quality matters to us. Our laboratory tests confirmed that based on the high level of hollow area, nonwovens products produced with Cerdia® Cellulose Acetate Hollow Fiber will benefit of an outstanding insulation and liquid absorption properties.

We developed our new Cerdia® Cellulose Acetate Hollow Fiber technology to deliver tremendous value to our customers across a broad range of industries and applications.

In consistency with our vision of being one of the biggest suppliers of cellulose acetate, we are pleased to offer our new and prospective customers the opportunity to order complimentary trial samples of our new Cerdia® Cellulose Acetate Hollow Fiber during the third quarter of 2022.
